e-Learning Network
e-Learning is a web enabled learning resource that provides a platform designed for use by secondary schools and higher education institutions.
The e-Learning platform is designed to support standard educational curriculum where teachers, students and parents can work together to engage in reflective, collegial pattern of work.

e-Learning Network comprises of three main components namely;
- Education Resource Centre.
- Resource Portal and Database
- Network/internet Provision tools
A typical e-Learning Solution would allow students from activated computers to:
- Create an e-Learning environment such as repositories and course programs with simple and user-friendly interfaces to enable users to quickly adapt to the system.
- Be provided with sufficient capacity in the system for teachers upload/download electronic materials to and from My Folder and Community Resources which enhances student’s ability to keep up to date with lecture materials and coursework.
- Organize and manage their teaching timeline by using tools like Calendar.
- Inform participants with the latest news regarding to their courses/modules by using tools like Announcements/Bulletins.
- Facilitate an interactive learning environment with messaging facilities such as Forum where ideas can be shared between students and teaching staff.
- Obtain feedbacks from students, and even instructors of other communities, by making use of a Survey.
- Network connectivity for all students in a required resource facility (internet is optional)
- Allow students to study at their own leisure and time.
- Provide support for children with learning difficulties.
- Provide support for the sight and hearing impaired.
- Provide parents with the ability to keep up to date with the educational development of their child and be aware of any school development activity which involves their children.
This platform can also allow parents of children from the Diaspora to get involved in the development of their children.
